Hi Michael,
You did not specify which type of files you are interested in.
When you upload an Excel file, the hidden cells have already been disabled. If you want to include them as well, you need to tick the relevant box. Please check the screenshot below.
The same applies to PDF conversion setting, excluding scanned PDF files. The hidden text is not included in the generated ftfx file unless you tick the relevant checkbox in the Preferences menu.
If you don't want to include certain part of a Word file, you need to colour the relevant text in Word, enable the relevant checkbox when generating the ftfx file and choose the colour of the text you don't need to translate.
